BOTOX is a type A botulinum toxin that temporarily blocks the nerve impulses directed towards the muscle into which it is injected.

After a prior consultation to discuss your medical history and suitability for the treatment you will be scheduled for the procedure . The treatment takes about 15 minutes during which time your skin will be disinfected, injection sites will be marked and your aesthetic practitioner will inject the treatment into each of the areas to be treated.

The results of the treatment will take up to 2 weeks to take effect. At this point you will have a review and if any further 'top up' treatment is required this will be done all under the initial cost. The results of your treatment will last anywhere between 3 to 6 months dependent on your physiology. At least 3 months must pass between treatments.

What is Profhilo®?

The first of its kind, Profhilo® is a revolutionary 'beneath the skin' hyaluronic acid moisturising treatment, made with the patented NAHYCO® technology. This results in a unique hyaluronic acid injectable gel, which has a prolonged stimulating activity on the dermal cells. 

What does it do?

When injected into skin, Profhilo® stimulates the skin cell receptors to counteract skin laxity and improve and restore firmness of the skin. One of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid on the market, Profhilo® not only boosts and hydrates the skin, but also remodels ageing and sagging tissue. 

What are the benefits?

The skin should look more hydrated and have a healthy glow, fine lines and wrinkles should improve and the area should have a more youthful appearance. Even very aged skin should feel tighter, smoother and show an improvement in texture.

What areas of the body can be treated?

The most common areas of treatment include the face and neck. It can also be used for the décolletage, hands, arms, knees and abdomen area where it would effectively treat skin laxity. The treatment is suitable for men and women as well as offering skin benefits for patients of all ages.

How long will treatment take?

Treatment with Profhilo® will take around 20 minutes.

Is there any downtime?

There will be some minor bumps at the injection sites that will last a day or two but are not normally visible.

How many treatments will I require?

For most patients we suggest two treatments four weeks apart and then a repeat single treatment every 3-6 months.

Benign skin lesion removal

Cryotherapy is a highly effective and safe procedure that is used to freeze and destroy benign skin lesions.

CryoPen Device

CryoPen uses liquefied nitrous oxide to destroy the tissue by freezing the cell fluid which in turn forms ice shards that rupture the cell membrane in turn destroying the cell and the lesion. 

CryoPen is beneficial as it is quick, requires no anaesthesia and has minimal scarring. It has pinpoint accuracy so no healthy tissue will be harmed and there is little to no downtime.

The procedure itself lasts a matter of seconds. The frozen skin becomes white and takes one to two minutes to thaw back to normal skin temperature. We may suggest that the process be repeated once the skin has thawed. After a few days, a scab will form, and this will take one to two weeks to fall off, occasionally a little longer. 

Depending on the nature of the lesion, more than one treatment may be necessary.

A wide variety of superficial benign (non-cancerous) lesions can be treated with cryotherapy, such as:
